As a result of New business wins within Alfa Staff and Training, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Recruitment Consultant working at our office in Newport

Company Description

Alfa staff are a well established business working within the recruitment industry supplying both temporary and permanent recruitment to many sectors including Technical, Manufacturing, Commercial and Driving. We currently supply contractors UK wide and on the continent not forgetting our onsite managed services within the South Wales area.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will be sales focused and driven to succeed. This is a real opportunity for an individual who is looking for a career with a reputable company with great opportunities. You will play an integral part in the team, and will be responsible for effectively building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients, developing new business opportunities, and maximizing company revenue. As an individual you will need to be methodical and responsive in your approach and ensure we offer a first class service to our clients and candidates at all times.

Key responsibilities

* Develop new business opportunities

* Work closely with new and existing clients in order to create solid relationships

* Regular service visits with current clients with the view to build on every opportunity

* Interview and select candidates

* Handling and maintaining a large computerised candidate database

* Establish the division and drive it to a successful profitable sector

* Share the On call system Requirements

* You must have Recruitment experience

* A proven track record within recruitment

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Strong determination to succeed

* Own transport is essential

* Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to think on your feet and deal with people at varying levels
