Description

Main duties of the Production Planner / scheduler are: -

  • Expedite Plant Schedule issued from Head Office Planning Dept
  • Maintain Planner to help achieve Sales KPI’s
  • Contact customers daily to arrange deliveries
  • Schedule future deliveries onto production schedule
  • In conjunction with Site Operations Manager, raise Purchase Orders for Timber, Plastics, Metalwork, Plates and Ancillaries
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure agreed delivery dates are adhered to
  • Print all necessary paperwork for manufacturing and issue to Plant Manager/Supervisor
  • Liaise with Site Operations Manager/Production Manager, promptly and efficiently, regarding any changes to plan
  • Co-ordinate and prepare daily dispatch documentation
  • Compile and relay scheduled transport document to Transport Contractor and Drivers on a Daily Basis
  • Act as the link between the Operation Team and the Design Team
